The closest airport to the wedding venue is Los Cabos, Mexico (SJD). From Salt Lake City Delta, Southwest, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, JetBlue, and Frontier all offer daily flights with Delta an offering direct flight.

You will need a passport (no visa required) to enter Mexico. Mexico only requires that your passport be valid during your trip, not for six months beyond. You cannot use a U.S. passport card so please check your passports and make sure you are ready to fly!

WHAT TO KNOW....

We will hold our wedding ceremony on the Pelican 17, a 110-foot yacht docked in Cabo San Lucas. We are so excited for you to be part of the most important day in our lives but ask that you are mindful of our timeline below. For our ceremony we ask that guests come dressed [dress code, Colors: (1) Champagne gold, (2) Black, (3) Soft Ivory/Warm Cream, etc.], that being said please pack a bag with a bathing suit etc. (see list below) as there will be plenty of time for ocean fun. If you have questions or concerns in advance, please just let us know and we will help you work them out.

The boat is docked approximately 55 minutes by car from the hotel. We have arranged transportation so please plan on being in the lobby of the Viceroy to board the bus to the boat no later than 9:30am. If you are not staying at the Viceroy you can either join us for the bus ride or arrange your own transportation, but please adhere to the outlined timeline. We would suggest having breakfast/coffee in advance as the bus will be taking you directly to the dock where limited services are available.

The boat will leave the dock at 11am sharp. We will travel under power to our wedding destination, where we will have our ceremony, our first dance and maybe a lucky girl will catch Jen’s bouquet. After the ceremony there will be an open bar, great music and a full Mexican feast. There will also be an opportunity for swimming, snorkeling and ocean fun so don’t forget to pack your bathing suit, towel (available at hotel), sunscreen, sunglasses and coverup to enjoy the remainder of the day! There will be state rooms/bathrooms to change out of your ceremony attire.

The boat will arrive back at the dock in Cabo San Lucas at approximately 4pm. We will have transportation upon arrival but understand some people may want to walk around and enjoy Cabo San Lucas. If you choose to stay you will need to arrange your own transportation back to the hotel. You can do so via the hotel or wait until the day of and use Uber.
